How does Private Label or Contract manufacturing work?
Private Label or Contract manufacturing with the Conscious Candle Company can work as many different ways as we have clients.
There are a few things that will always remain constant:
* A minimum quantity is required for each style/fragrance combination (SKU) produced. As a guide for viability for those wanting to wholesale to retailers and resulting in a fair RRP, 1,000 pieces per style/fragrance due to minimum requirements from printers and carton makers. This can be reduced by other smart packaging options. Talk to us!
For Private Label (relabeling or cleanskin existing products) there is a lower minimum of pieces required subject to labeling requirements.
If you would like our product to be labelled with your own artwork and branding, the minium order would be a manufacturing batch as all of our product is labelled as manufactured. The number of pieces a batch size is dependant on the candle jar volume. eg. A minimum batch for our 16oz jar candles is approximateley 48 units of the one fragrance; 5oz jars, approximateley 170 units of the same fragrance.
If you require quantities of less than a batch, we suggest you purchase from our existing wholesale range and remove/replace our labels with your own. We can supply you with your own labels if you do not have your own.
We are happy to just make the candles for you even if you supply the containers, fragrances and packaging!
* All product must be shipped upon completion.
* Depending on the size/scope of the project, partial pre-payment may be required.
Everything else is determined on a per-project basis.
* Containers, Fragrance, Labeling and Packaging can all be sourced by the Conscious Candle Company - or by you. You may have resources available to in some or all of these areas. If not, we can use our relationships and buying power to access raw materials on your behalf.
* We can deliver the candles completely labeled or ship them to you for final packaging.
* We can ship to a Distribution Centre or ship to individual stores.
*We can even store and ship for you providing third party logistic services
